Yerushalmi Kugel
  • 3 ½ cups water
  • ½ stick butter or margarine
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 12 oz. egg noodles
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 eggs
  1. Combine water, butter, sugar, salt, and pepper in a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling and margarine is melted add in the egg noodles.
  3. In a separate bowl mix the brown sugar, oil, and eggs.
  4. After the noodles are warm, add in the brown sugar mixture and mix together.
  5. Pour into a 9”x13” baking pan. Bake for 60 minutes (bake uncovered for 30 minutes, then cover with aluminum foil and bake for the additional 30 minutes).

Refrigerate leftovers.
