Yerushalmi Kugel
- 3 ½ cups water
- ½ stick butter or margarine
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 12 oz. egg noodles
- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 eggs
- Combine water, butter, sugar, salt, and pepper in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling and margarine is melted add in the egg noodles.
- In a separate bowl mix the brown sugar, oil, and eggs.
- After the noodles are warm, add in the brown sugar mixture and mix together.
- Pour into a 9”x13” baking pan. Bake for 60 minutes (bake uncovered for 30 minutes, then cover with aluminum foil and bake for the additional 30 minutes).
Refrigerate leftovers.
